On the second floor the Hostel Carioquinha has a very large terrace where the guests can go to cook their meals, enjoy all together with friends, play games or watch the TV shows in the lounge area, or just relax on the confortable sofas.

All the place is nicely painted with local colorful scenaries and food subjects.

 

Also there are tables and chairs for everybody to having lunch and dinner, or just to sit when you use the laptop with the internet wi-fi connection. Of course, the terrace is also the place for the morning meals, and the breakfasts are included in the price of reservation.

Finally, Francisco is a very good cook and he often offers (or he accepts after a friendly smiling request) to prepare a wonderful barbecue dinner for everybody, with local fresh meat and vegetables. Usually these nights startes without a particular plan, but just with a simple combination of events... and every time they end as a great Hostel's Barbecue Party!

The open air kitchen is furnished with a large fridge / congelator, a powerful microwave and a sink to wash the dishes. If you need to wash your clothes there's a washing machine that you can easily use for free. All the potteries and the soap are provided by the Hostel.
